This makes it feel real and easier for the viewers to relate to the characters. This portion of comedy is quite grounded in reality as people actually do think along those lines at some point. The characters’ words and actions are so ironic that it makes you chuckle. On this case, the meaningful contexts contribute to the comical aspects. The middle layer of Hyouge Mono’s comedies is the ironic humor. The incredible emphasis on the details while twisting those faces to exaggerate the expressions do make these faces something worth mentioning. The facial expressions are the most popular thing about this terribly overlooked anime.
The characters get really worked up and engage in all sorts of actions due to their passion or belief and the anime depicts this superficial level of wackiness quite hilariously. Its humor covers superficial, medium and deeper layer thoroughly. Hyouge Mono is an anime from 2011 that is humorous on multiple levels. The comedies become more appealing due to the wackiness. The stylizing is crafted with care, very fun to watch and is actually useful as it saves time and delivers humor simultaneously. The presentation is simple enough to be easily understood and the duration is short enough to clearly recall it. Using pieces of earlier conversation to describe a recurring incident is quite amusing as the viewers recall what happened in the conversation back then.
The use of long cohesive narrative to craft its humor is proficiently done so. At times, the aftertaste of tone shifting remains on screen further making it funny. As their tone shifts from casual to serious, the contrast with the content of their dialogue executes the humor perfectly. The twists in the conversations come gradually while the tone of the voices changes suddenly, making it as striking as possible. Their long monologues and dialogues are coherent and boasts of hilarity. The characters’ interactions with each other is a stronger source of humor in this series. Thus, this anime contains some of the smartest and most genuine fourth-wall breaking in any medium of storytelling. Along with the series’ elements itself, the commentaries cover the nature of human beings, society and so much more. Way ahead of its time, while it subverts tropes in a most unique manner, it also comments on their nature and the viewers’ perception of them.
Such ingenious stylizing is not only unexpected from a show so old, it’s also one of the best works ever done in this regard.

Some of these however, are terribly overlooked. However, I have come across some anime focusing on being a comedy, whether alongside other genre or not, that are excellent comedy shows.
